A Brief History

The Palmetto Professional Society of Charleston was founded in July 2004 in the spirit of establishing, for young professionals, an opportunity for organized, progressive, and sustaining involvement in the local Charleston community. The ideals of leadership, dedication, and vision were instrumental in shaping and guiding the organization into the viable entity that it has become, and are evidenced in each of its members. Looking towards the future, these same ideals will surely continue to guide the Society's involvement in effecting positive change in the lives of its members and throughout the Lowcountry.
